AmiVio is a recognised everyday-support provider under § 45a SGB XI in conjunction with the AnFöVO NRW and bills the relief amount (€131/month, § 45b SGB XI), the conversion entitlement (€318 to €920 per month, § 45a para. 4 SGB XI) and respite care (§ 39 SGB XI) directly with your long-term care insurance fund. You pay nothing in advance; we will gladly tell you our prices on request. For benefits from the health insurance (§ 38 SGB V, § 24h SGB V), the insurer decides case by case; there we support you with the application. AmiVio is not a nursing service: no personal hygiene care, no medication, no wound care. We complement nursing services.

Questions about our services

Which services does AmiVio offer?
We help around the house (household help, cooking and laundry service, shopping and errands), accompany people in everyday life (everyday accompaniment, dementia care, child and family accompaniment, paperwork help) and support you in special situations: after a hospital stay, during pregnancy and to relieve family caregivers.
Who pays for the services?
The long-term care insurance (Pflegekasse) covers our services from your budgets, we bill directly, you pay nothing in advance. Depending on the care level, we use the relief amount (Entlastungsbetrag, €131 per month from care level 1), the conversion entitlement and respite care (Verhinderungspflege, from care level 2). Without a care level, the health insurance (Krankenkasse) may approve household help in case of illness, after a hospital stay or during pregnancy. In that case we support you with the application.
Can I combine several services?
Yes. Every service can be booked on its own or in combination, for example household help with shopping and accompaniment to appointments. In the initial consultation we clarify which combination suits your needs and your budgets.
What is not part of AmiVio’s services?
AmiVio is not a nursing service: no personal hygiene care, no administering of medication, no wound care, no medical treatment care and no patient transport. We help in the household and in everyday life and thereby complement the work of nursing services.
How does booking a service work and what do I need to do?
You call or write to us. In about 20 minutes we clarify, free of charge, what you need. With your authorisation we check the budgets with the care insurance fund, prepare the documents and agree the framework contract. You do not have to pay anything in advance.
How quickly can the support start?
The start follows the initial consultation and the contract and depends on availability in your area. We do not promise a fixed start date across the board. In the initial consultation we tell you honestly when we can begin.
